Who are we?

We are a Sea Scout Group based in the village of Warsash 1km to the East of the river Hamble in Hampshire England.

The Group was formed on the 16th of June 1965 & originally met at the Hook with Warsash School until our headquarters was opened by the then Hampshire County Commissioner Mr. Roy Farmers J.P. M.B.I.M on the 13th of October 1990.

The Group has the following sections:-

Two Beaver Colonies the Red Oaks & the Owls, two Cub Packs Wight & Dover also two Scout Troops Viking & Fastnet.

We also host an Explorer Scout Unit here at Warsash, they were formed in September 2002 & their numbers are increasing.

The total number of uniformed members is approximately 143 (January 2005).
